With Pearls. I don't know what it is but there is something that speaks to me about these precious creations. I love the danty, purity and classiness about pearls. I don't know if it's because I can afford more pearls than diamonds, but I love them. I love to wear them, to buy them and be seen in them. Timeless. Here is the lastest to the collection of pearl jewelry I have. Sundance makes some of my favorite jewelry. I just love almost everything I see from the designers there. Thanks Jolie for the Christmas gift. I absolutely love them. Can't beat it :)

A Must See
MARLEY & ME. It's sooooo good. Can't wait to own it. Let me know what you think of it when you see it. I felt myself relating to this movie and their little life. Only we don't have the world's worst dog. Click here to see the Preview.
My fav quote from the movie: "A dog doesn’t care if you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his. It’s really quite simple, and yet we humans, so much wiser and sophisticated, have always had trouble figuring out what really counts.”

Merry Christmas!
Mom got the girls Cabbage Patch Kids. Those brought back some memories. Omi knew exactly what it was before the kids ripped the paper off the box. I had to laugh.
Lydia got ahold of Auntie Jenn's sparkly shoes.Merry Christmas to all. May the sweet Spirit of Christ fill your homes and hearts this Christmas and carry you through this coming year.
Love to all,
Markus & Jenn

A Honey-Do Week Off

Markus took last week off from work so he wouldn't lose his vacation before he has to leave. In the meantime I wanted my floors in the masterbath to be done for the party (the one you didn't come to). So after working on these things for 3 days this is the end result. Aren't they beautiful? We opted for 17" and they seem to be the perfect size for this large but strange space. Markus and Fritz did a great job. I'm very happy with them. Now all I have to do is change the paint color I've been so skeptical about and the walls will compliment the floors. Slowly but surely this space is coming along. Next is the finishing the wall where the vanity was, deciding on a vanity or 2, picking out lights, sinks, fixtures, then on to the tub surround. Markus wants to do the shower, but I will be happy if everything else gets done first. The shower still functions. IT's just not pretty. But if Markus wants the tile shower, then that will be another fun week long project. :) Thank you babe for all your hard work AKA Sweat equity. I know this is money/work well spent. Merry Christmas to me! (I'm calling this my present, since we don't do those "see post below")

Christmas Cards Out!
Coming soon to a mailbox near you! Hopefully the cards going in town get to people in time for Christmas. It took me about 3 tries on the pictures to get them decent looking. They kept coming out dark. Oh well, better late than never. I wish I could sent them to everyone, but for those who won't be getting one I'll share our "newsletter" if you want to call it that. I actually got the idea from Dry Inks Post last year and decided to do the same. I got so many compliments, that I'm deciding to do it again this year and again til who knows when... KIDS? j/k
2008/ A Year in Review
Markus still plays tennis & got bumped up to 3.5 (it's sort of a big deal) * Jenn continues to scrapbook the pics from the camera she got last year, no new lenses yet, hint hint * Markus in his 3rd semester at LSU, look out Graduation Day is in the future * Jenn looks forward to the Graduation Day & Party (of the century) * Markus changed his major to Economics; bye bye Information Systems * Markus & Jenn got a dog * Not a bulldog or Maltese (like last year), any guesses... He's a cocker spaniel mix, his name is BOGEY, our friends gave him to us (we used to dog sit him) we love him, he's the best dog * Markus & Jenn bought a new "used" car in one weekend (out of both cars, desperation set in) * no babies to put in the backseat, but you'll be the first to know when we do * Markus got his baby... 50" Plasma, He's in love * Jenn got the Pottery Barn console to put it on * Markus went to the State Tennis Tourney AGAIN * Jenn went along for the ride and left our fav pillows at the hotel * Markus & Jenn celebrated 3 years of marriage, can you believe it and he still like Jenn's cooking * Jenn still working on last year's projects for the house, but it's a work in progress * Just wait til Markus finishes them *
Dear friends & family, May you feel of the sweet Spirit of Christ's birth during this Christmas Season. For He is our Savior & the reason we celebrate CHRISTmas. I pray we have peace and joy in our hearts from this Christmas Season to carry us through the New Year and always.
Love to you, Markus & Jenn

My Unselfish Husband
Markus calls me from work today to report his bonus for Christmas. Not the usual Gift Certificate to Honey Baked Ham. Hmm weird since the raises are being deferred, no reason for him to stay now. (that's another story) He got a gift card and proceeded to ask me what I wanted for Christmas. How sweet, right? You betcha. I told him he should get something with it. But if that was unselfish enough... seems every Christmas Markus and I opt not to get each other gifts and just give to our friends and family. That is probably the only tradition we've held up through our 3 years of marriage. It's something we try to afford every year, but just don't or can't for whatever reason. And Markus with no compliant happily gets for others and not for himself. I just love that about him. Granted he claims he's gotten everything he wants this year, but to think of me for his Christmas bonus was just so sweet.

busy busy busy
Not a bad thing I guess, but it's hard to be productive when there is always something going on. Last night the boys (Markus & Fritz) were up til 12:30a cutting tiles for the master bathroom. Which I think looks awesome. They get put down tonight and grouted tomorrow. I'm very excited for this transformation. Thanks to Fritz for practically doing the work for us. We will owe you big time. Can't wait to post pics when it's done. I will be changing the color on the walls in the bathroom to compliment the newly installed tile. I wasn't super crazy about the color anyway.
Tonight we're going to the Tennis Banquet. Very fun. Last year it was beautiful at the BR Country Club. The food was amazingly put together and I'm sure it will be the same way this year. Maybe I can get some ideas for the party. I know I still haven't posted the menu for those who are attending. Maybe I'll do that tonight. You'll be in for a treat if you are coming. I'm excited. We were supposed to have one last year, but I threw Markus a surprise party instead and figured 2 weekends at the Wilson house in the same month would be a bit excessive. So the tennis banquet is going to be extra fun this year cause Markus is getting recognized for being 2nd place in the city for his level. Which he just recently got bumped up, so he'll be getting a gift certificate to the Mall of La. Very nice. Great job hunny. So proud of you. He tells me if he would've played in one more tournament this year he could've gotten 1st place. We'll see how he does in 3.5 that should be great competition for him.
Friday I'll be off getting everything ready and running around so Sat I can relax and go to the Graduation Party for Craig then to my party that night. Hurry and get here Friday, I mean Saturday!

I Heart Snow Day
Who would've thought we'd wake up to SNOW. I know I'm not the first or the last that will be talking about this day. How fun. It hasn't snowed (and stuck) like this for 20 years. I was only 5 I believe. We made a huge snowman in the front yard in 1988 too. But in 2008 I had to go to work. It was a beautiful drive there though. Highland Road was gorgeous. I managed to snap several photos before going into work. So here's to snow @ 6:30am :) If only I believed it was going to snow I would've woke up earlier just to play in it. By the time I put real clothes on to take a pic of the front, the kids a couple of houses down already built a snowman as tall as me. How did they know before me?? hehe

The Backyard

Bogey was so not into the snow. He just cautiously stood on the deck. It was hilarious!

The front of the house. Look at the ice/snow on the driveway. It reminded me of a slushy.

A view from the front door looking out into the yard.

The deck/storage shed in the side yard. My poor plants. I would have brought you in had I known it was going to snow on you. Sorry

The poor Oleander in the backyard. Too bad it didn't have all the snow on it when we took the pics at 1pm. It's the same bush, only 6+ hours earlier.
Christmas Card Pics
Usually I am one of the first to get my Christmas Cards out. I tried really hard to get them out with the invites, but I didn't really love any of the pics I was using for them.
But I guess it pays to wait (what I've learned from Markus) and IT SNOWED. So I took off early at noon to come home just to take our Christmas Card pic with the SNOW. And Markus was not happy about this being off early. It was the last thing he wanted to do on his day off. So help me decide what face of Markus' is the most tolerable so I can get these out this weekend.
Hope everyone had fun in the snow. I felt like I was driving in the mountains while driving down Highland Rd. to get to work this morning. I'll post my pics from 6:30am later. :)

Happy Birthday Markus!
I know it got off to a rough start with the 2 call outs at the wee hours of the morning, but somehow in my half-asleep self managed to belt out Happy Birthday. That counts for something, right? Won't be long and you won't have to worry about that irritation. I love you for everything you are and hope you have a great day. Goodness knows you deserve it. Hey I might even make your favorite cake AGAIN for you. 2 times in one week, that should cover me for another year, right? You are the best and I'm happy & proud to be your wife. Happy Birthday Sweets!

Christmas Decor

The tree is done and the mantle decor hasn't fallen since the 3rd time Yay! Here's the pics. My tree this year is done in white and silver. I'm pretty pleased with it. I could stand to add more ornaments, but you need money to do that. :) The mantle had to be done 4 times, but I think it's staying put this time. Something different this year. We took the mirror down (I was over it being above the mantle) and moved the pic in the dining to the living room and the mirror replaced the pic in the dining. I love this sooo much more than before. That's always a good thing. Now if I can just get my rug and ottoman I'll be ok with the living room. It's ok to dream right?

Still Working
I'm still working on decorating. How pathetic, right? Well I worked on my mantle and came home the next day and it was all on the floor. I was pretty bummed. But I started over. Happy to say it's wrapping up. I will post pics of the tree when I figure out something with the top. Markus broke my star that I bought in the after Christmas sale so that was annoying. Boys just don't get it! So the house is almost ready to go for the party. I promise to get the invites out tomorrow. I'm kinda behind. Which is sooo not me. Then on to the Christmas cards. O I just love this time of year!

Happy Late Bday Lea-Lea
Can't believe I talked to my best friend on her bday without even wishing her a Happy Birthday. I'm so sorry Lea-Lea. I'll make it up to you this weekend when we go shopping. Just wanted you to know how much I value our friendship. You're like a sister to me! happy 27, my fav #. Glad we got to go to this game together. I'll see what I can do next year too!Luv u

Party in the works
Invitations will go out this week. I can't believe I haven't decided on a invite though. Geez I have no prob making them for other people. I didn't want to have a party early in Dec cause I'd have to send invites out for a Christmas Party in Nov and Markus hates Christmas in Nov.
P.S. I'm glad NaBloPoMo is over, YEah!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
How lovely are your branches! Well we didn't wait til the middle of December to get a tree this year. Because of it we were able to get one at half the price :) Which I of course loved. I'm slowly building up my collection of ornaments so the past few years I've put of complimentary colors that I have lots of. This year I decided I wouldn't have any red on the tree and go white and silver. I love it. Now I've just got a few more accessories to buy and it will be done. Then I will post a pic. I also got lots of trimmings from the tree, so I'm making fresh garland again this year and I might brave it and do a wreath or a swag. Very excited for that.

The Pumpkin Cheesecake
Well I wish I could report that everyone loved it yesterday, but.... when I was driving and turned right it flew to the front floor board upside down and splattered everywhere! I only got a little bit on my seat that I got to lick up. That was good but I was so devastated I didn't even try the crust which I was very curious about. I'm too embarrassed to post the pic I took of the tragedy. It really ruined my day, but I tried to make the best of my empty-handed situation to a potluck Thanksgiving. Gotta love it!

The Love of My Life

This post comes from Jimbo's Challenge and I couldn't wait to post. So here's to the past. I love old pics and this one is one of the funniest pics from Markus' high school years and he takes great pride in it.
P.S. He still has this sign and when his mom gave it to him he actually wanted to put it in our house somewhere. Um No
Happy Thanksgiving
Just put the pumpkin cheesecake in the oven. First one (cheesecake) I've made in a good while. Very excited for it though. I'll have to update on the flavor, it got good reviews so I'm not nervous.
This is one of my favorite holidays. It's one that is always filled with family and great food. Of which I'm so thankful for. I'll get to spend Thanksgiving with both Markus' family and mine so that will be a treat. It's never happened this way before so I'm excited for today.
To my sweetheart, Markus, I'm so thankful you are my husband and we have one another. We will get through this holiday season I promise. It's just one of those things that only happens to other people, but now us.
Christmas decorating starts tomorrow.

I must say I'm glad that it's a holiday tomorrow. I need a break from work, 2nd job, homeowners assoc, etc. I can't hardly wait! I'm sooo thankful!
Speaking of breaks... Markus kinda got one the other day. More on that later...

Favorite Fall Feelings
I was just thinking oh last week or so when it was a**cold outside about this lovely time of year, my favorite and those feelings I just wish could stay all year.
Just a few things are, that feeling you get when you wake up in the morning under your down comforter to the alarm waking you up and you're just soooo cozy and don't want to get up cause it's so warm or the freshly clean and WARM laundry straight from the dryer to put on your body to warm you up or working out in the yard and not sweating for once. Aww... I just wish it could stay around all year.

OBAMA CHECK revisited
I can't believe I'm the only one who got one! Wow he must really love me for voting for McCain. Imagine that? J/k. No me and Markus were just laughing about how Obama voters think he's going to take care of their houses, cars, gas, etc. (fill in the blank) and I was like well he's gunna buy us a tv. You know the one I promised Markus last year in this post. It's finally here. Markus caught up with a great deal and I gave into his wishes. Early bday, Christmas and well I think it has him covered til next time around this year! He's been extremely patient with me on this whole tv thing and it's about time for him. We even lucked out and got a console from Pottery Barn that was regularly $599 for $140. I was excited for my find. I officially have a PB piece of furniture in my house. IF we had the money I'd buy all the pieces in the set, they just didn't have them in stock at our store. :(

Absent
I didn't get to make the last home game of this crappy season (of home games). So here you go Ole Piss. It's only cause you got Arkansas' coach that you're winning. They said on the tv that when Saban left LSU he suggested we hire Houston Nut (Ole Miss coach now) for the job. Interesting. So do you think Jordan Jefferson is better now?
Who was I kidding
Ok I really tried hard to do the 30 posts in November. Last night screwed everything up for me. I was at work all day and didn't even think to post there knowing my whole night would be consumed away from a computer. Then I didn't even get home til the wee hours of the morning. Grr... love church youth activities. :) Oh well I guess it's a lost cause at this point to keep going. I haven't decided yet. Guess you'll have to see.

I couldn't resist
I love the fall, but I get really tired of orange and yellow. See I'm a cool colored person. So as soon as I saw this background I knew it would be the one I wanted for Christmas. I just couldn't wait until Thanksgiving. But FYI I haven't started decorating for Christmas so don't kill me so soon.
The party season is coming and guess who's having one??? Just a little bit of encouragement to get our place in order. :)

The Chuck E Cheese Excursion
Markus and I got to take Lydia to Chuck E Cheese today while her parents got to enjoy their anniversary. We had a lot of fun. First we went to Canes for dinner. Lydia got her kids meal and we got her the little Santa Canes dog. She just loved that thing. When we got to Chuck E Cheese she was running up to the front door. It was pretty cute. She'd never even been she just knew she wanted to go in I guess. So we got minimal tokens cause I just didn't know how she would do. Well a lot of the little games were a bit advanced for her, so we helped her out. She was on to the next game while we were trying to get tickets for her. It was hilarious. I really wish I would not have forgotten my silly camera. That was a bummer. I even told myself not to forget it and still did. After we finished out tokens, she walked out with a little set of bracelets and a mini sucker. She was happy and didn't know the difference. Then off to TJ Maxx to find her a purse or something princess for her bday. Well we found her a Princess purse. That was perfect. She was so good too. She just loves her Uncle Markus too. I just love the way she says it too. Cracks me up. We will definitely have to do that again, but only if Markus is up for it. hehe

2nd Job
I got one. Weird I know. It's helping out someone that needs help and I'm getting paid for it to boot. Yeah! I might even get the car fixed or get a new one. Who knows. I always enjoy helping people.

Happy Birthday Lydia!

My little princess loving niece, Lydia is 3 today. Happy Birthday my baby. We love you! Uncle Markus and I are going to take Miss Lydia on a fun excursion for her birthday since we didn't have the opportunity to come to her bday party. Hopefully sometime this week if mommy lets us we'll go. I'm amazed at just how much she loves her Uncle Markus. It's so cute. I saw her yesterday and after she greeted me with a big hug and kiss, she says, "Unca Markus" Like where is he at? It was so cute. I asked Steph why she always says his name and notices him? She didn't know why. I thought it was so sweet. Markus laughed when I told him. Happy Birthday Lydia!

Bday Weekend
Friday was a bit crazy. I got off early which is always nice. Markus and I went to Louisiana Lagniappe for dinner. We waited for like 45 min, but it was worth the wait as usual. We saw Aaron Gomez there with ol' Mr. Price LeBlanc. He's a card. We were going to catch the new James Bond movie, but I was dead after dinner and ready for bed.
Saturday was fun. We woke up early to catch breakfast downtown. Very nice. There Markus bought me some jewelry that I'd been eyeing for a while. Then we headed over to get my hair cut. That was a trip. I love everything about it, but he shaved part of my neck. I think she did it not really paying attention. Lovely. So we then went to the mall to attempt to shop for gameday clothes when Markus' brother called and said he was at our house. So we headed home and I made chocolate cake balls for my bday to bring out to the tailgate which were awesome if I might say so myself. Markus got lots of compliments on me. haha! Lea-Lea met me out there for the festivities and we almost talked her into going to the game with us, but it was tooo cold for her in her flip flops. We all know about the game. So let's just imagine here sitting on a metal seat with no cushion in the freezing cold to watch them play horribly the first 3 quarters and see Lee get booed in the 1st qtr and Jefferson come in and he wasn't like soooo awesome how everyone thought too. OH it was hilarious. We saw Markus' cousins there and visited with them a while. 9 min into the 4th qtr I went down by the concessions stand and stayed there til the end of the game. It was a bit warmer than sitting in the stadium. By the time we left I couldn't feel my feet/toes and kept losing my shoes cause I didn't know whether they were on or off. Barely get home by almost midnight to post on the blog and drop dead of being frozen for so long.
Sunday bright and early 6am wake up and get ready to head out to Lafayette. Oh boy! Love church meetings. At least they fed us Gumbo for lunch. Then off to more meetings. Get home around 4pm and out again to the in-laws for Quiche and Fondue at my request. Yummy meal. Thanks Esther for your hard work, I loved it! Got the earrings I wanted from them and a beautiful orchid. Sarah got me a very pretty frame that I wished I could put a pic of my little girl in it was so frilly. Maybe one day. I told her I needed a baby to stick in the frame. :)
Finally here I am it's almost over and I'm a year older. Hard to believe. Where did the weekend go? Now planning for Markus' Bday. Less than a month away! I love you baby and so happy I could celebrate my bday with the man I love!

Happy Bday To Me
I'm going to go de-thaw. I can't believe we stayed at the game the whole time. Talk about my bday tomorrow.

Almost Bday Girl
Hard to believe my 25th year is almost gone! When I got married at 22 I told myself I wanted to have a baby by the time I was 25. That slowly changed to be pregnant by 25. Now that it's almost gone, I don't see where either of those wishes/dreams came true. I must say I'm a bit sad yet also relieved at the same time. Relieved because in Target I was shopping for my little niece for this specific toy that I ended up not finding because I was so overwhelmed. I am soooo... not ready for the toy section at Target. OH boy. I called Markus and told him I'm going to have to stick with something familiar for her birthday- CLOTHES. hehe I know right?
Anyhow, here I am almost in another year of age and needing to set a new wish/dream since the one I made when I got married is almost up. So I guess it would have to be for us to have a baby when it's right for both of us. That is very important to me. Most don't understand that when they inquire when kids are coming. OH geez not that question again. :)

It's Funny... Part 2: Family Version
Not sure if any of you remember my It's Funny post back in August but as promised at the end of it Part 2 was coming. Well it's that time AGAIN. So, just thought I'd start another list of funny little things in life that I've noticed, learned, experienced, etc with/about my family. Feel free to add to the list if you feel the need. I think we could all use a laugh or a "that's so true moment". So in no particular order, here goes the randomness.
1. How my sisters only call me when they need me (I know it's #2 on my first list, but it's important enough to mention AGAIN)
2. How the good always suffer for the bad
3. How making the right decision(s) in life suddenly make you the bad guy
4. How petty sisters can be
5. How jealous sisters can be
6. How family members can't be genuinely happy for the other
7. There's always going to be the he said she said
8. Some things will never change
9. How I'm the last to find out anything that is going on in my family
10. Email and texting are the greatest ways to avoid confrontation, what a concept
11. How some people just love to point out you will never have kids, who knew?
12. How standing for something is just not right in every situation, didn't you know it was a pick and choose thing
13. How you are the one who doesn't care cause you never call, when my phone doesn't ring either, weird
14. How one nice thing will always go unnoticed
15. Living right = Self Righteous or Better than us
16. Convenience always takes precedence
17. How hurting another family member is fun or the right thing to do
18. How my In-laws are my family too and how could they not be??
19. How I'm closer to my ILs than others in my own family, huh?
20. How my MIL is not pressuring us to have kids even though she loves and wants gkids
21. How responsibility rides in the back seat, but has to ride in the front seat in our car
22. How Markus is the bad guy cause he doesn't want kids RIGHT NOW (he's the best in my eyes!)
23. How being busy is a bad thing and means you don't care
24. How people make the same mistakes over and over
25. How high school feels right around the corner in so many scenarios in my family
26. It's all about me me me me (what they want)
27. How a birthday is just another day to schedule a day of events not centered around the birthday person
I'll just leave it with my favorite number, 27 and if I come up with anything else I might post another it's funny. How about you, have any it's funny's to share about/with your fam?

Roll Tide Roll ON Out
What a joke. I really thought we were going to lose before even going into the stadium. Then when we started to play (excluding the first interception) I was like dang Tigers! It occurred to me that we could actually win. Well that happened a few times over including the field goal Ricky Jean-Fracois blocked. I punched the hell out of Markus' arm as I screamed I told you so. Just before that happened I told him, I guess we lost the game (with 3 seconds left) unless they block it. AND THEY DID! All and all I'm happy to see the DEFENSE bring their A game. That was refreshing to see. Here's my fav pics from the game.

Well this is the BIG 200th post of mine. Crazy to think I've had that many in just a short time. If it wasn't for the new and improved dashboard, I'd never know how many posts I've done.
Just to add to this random post, here's Bogey's favorite spot. Markus was eating and Bogey loves to watch and inch closer and closer to him in hopes to get a little something. He is too freakin funny. Markus always gives in. That is why this is Bogey's favorite spot on the arm of the couch propping his head on Markus. :)

Blah Blah Blah
So whatever to all you Obama supporters. I hope you still feel the same way in 1 or 2 or 3 years down the road. Hey at least our state was a red state. Sad to say our parish was blue, boo blue.
On a happier note, I think my poison ivy might be getting better. Those tub parties I think have really helped. Might I suggested them to anyone who is in distress over poison.

Follow Up #2
Well Markus was telling me as we pulled into the school to go vote at 5pm that I need to suck his stinky feet. I told him only if I could have a baby :). TMI I know, but I have a feet fetish, hehe. There was nobody there. We walked right up and went in no problem. No lines, nothing. I like voting that way. Trust me there were enough people there this morning to vote for all of us. Well not really, but I was impressed. Not so bad. Guess I'll take a Benadryl early tonight to catch up on missed sleep. :)
Follow up
I was ready to go, but Markus changed his mind and decided he would just come with me to VOTE early. Well long story short we get there at 6:25 and they had a line out the gym forever long. Markus said we would come back after work. grrr... nothing better than losing sleep and wasting my time getting up at 5:45. Oh well, guess I'll just wait longer after work. I refuse to let Obama win cause I didn't want to stand in line. Wah!
GO VOTE!!!
Like today. Who cares if you have to stand in long lines, it's better than having 4 years of well I don't even want to know. I'm headed out to vote early and I've given myself 1 hr to stand in line. Hope that's enough.
We all have the right to choose and I hope most of this nation makes the RIGHT choice that will help this nation prosper.

Think About This Before you Vote
A Random Rant
Just got this from my assistant. I feel the same way about all of the points he touches on. Obama is going to bring our great nation down. At least I know he won't get my vote! I'm going to bed so I can wake up at 5:45am to go vote.
The rant will continue tomorrow...

Party update
Well the party was great, filled with my latest downloads from ITunes. Love it. Bogey came to see what all the racket was about, then found out there was no food at the party and headed out. I must say that oatmeal stuff works. Smells like oatmeal too, imagine that? I almost don't feel the need to take Benadryl tonight, not that it worked last night. I woke up again to scratching in my sleep. O Geez!
Party in my tub

Go Away!
Not you, but this damn Poison Ivy. I must say I'm a bit annoyed when after 2 weeks of the initial "contact" I'm still seeing newness of this crap on my body. It was fine when it was just on my arm, but my stomach, legs and butt, what the hell! I can deal ok with pain, but itch, oh no ma'am. Nothing can alleviate this constant itch.
The other night Markus said he heard this noise and it would come and go. He kept trying to figure out what it was, but it would stop and then come right back up. You guessed it, it was me scratching the hell out of myself, IN MY SLEEP! How pathetic! Make it go away

Halloween Night
I had all intentions of getting a cute dogey costume for Bogey to wear to go trick or treating with my niece, Lydia. Well needless to say waiting til the last minute you don't have the best selection, so I decided against it. All the kids in the neighborhood loved him anyway so it didn't really matter to me. We got out to mom's neighborhood about 10 min after 6pm. There were kids everywhere! I forgot how much fun it was. Lydia was so happy to see me with Bogey and the whole time she kept saying come on dogey. It was cute cause she was mocking me saying come on Bogey. hehe. Cute girl, she was Cinderella and just the cutest thing too. Here are some pics I snapped of my 1st Halloween in a many a year and Lydia's 1st too.
I snapped this pic right when we started and it was still daylight out. Notice she's holding her own pumpkin.
At this point both Lydia & her mommy were sharing the task of holding the treats. hehe
Lydia loved this huge Tigger. She was so funny.
One of the last houses we went to cause Lydia got tired of walking. The little boy in the background was Shrek. So cute.
Lydia had had enough walking and getting candy.
She was just being funny for me cause the camera was on her.
This cracked me up. Her fake sleeping. She is such a drama queen I just had to take of picture of this silly kid.
Overall it was a fun experience. I wish I could've dressed Bogey up, but I guess there is always next year. Bogey did awesome with all the little kids running around. He even let kids pet him too. He is such a good dogey to us. Markus stayed at my mom's house and helped pass out candy.

"Poison Hands"
That is what Markus called me today after we learned yesterday that I did infact have Poison Ivy on my arm. He then proceeded to say, "put your hands where I can see them". I felt like a criminal but it was kinda funny. This stuff itches!
