Day 6: Something you hope you never have to do

Hands down I hope I never have to go through a divorce.  I've been through it as a child/adolescent one too many times.  I can't imagine my life without the love of my life in it.  I do see how people get to that point, but I could not do it.  That is something that I've always cherished in my life, the opportunity to get married (and to stay married).  I love Markus and I can't imagine my life being married to any other person but him.  I cannot imagine having to start all over either.  We live in a world today where that is all around and it just saddens me that that is what it's coming too.  It's almost easier to get out of a marriage than it is to get in one.  I've seen so many fail and I just never want to lose the fight to keep my marriage strong and together.  It's hard.  And I fall into blahness but I always seem to pick myself back up (or Markus does) and keep on truckin'.  So here is to my mother who made the comment to my sister when I got married, "I hope she gets a divorce so she can know what it feels like"... I hope I never do!  I cherish what I have way too much to just give it up.  Almost 6 years and going strong, I love you MCW~

Day 5: Something you hope to do in your life

Hands down this would be go to Europe.  I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Italy.  Ever since I've met Markus and now a part of the Wilson family I hope to go to Switzerland too and see all about where/how my MIL grew up.  It's always been a dream of mine.  I hope one day to make it a reality.  Though I am scared to go over there though.  Only because I might not want to come back here.  I guess we will see.  Who is to say.  I might hate it... yeah right!  One day.  One day.  I will fulfill this dream.  Hopefully sooner than later.

Day 4: Something you have to forgive someone for

Currently I don't even know where to start for this little truth.  But really a good start would be my mother not showing up for Trevor's blessing.  Did you think I would be ok with you skipping out on my little boy's blessing, and going on a vacation to Las Vegas? Um no!  But really it's not just her.  It's Stephanie and Naomi too.  I'm just going to throw this out there... yall suck!  I was and have been all about your freakin' kids since O like the day they were born!  I love them to death and would adopt them in a heartbeat if anything ever happened to you or your spouses.  But when it comes to you showing support to me... oh no you can't do that.  All of you have only hounded me for what all of my married life to have a freakin' kid and now that I have one I can count the times on one hand in his almost 6 months of life that you have even come around.  Mother, well if it wasn't for us coming to church with you, you would NEVER even see Trevor.  It's just pathetic how my own family who is member's of my church didn't even show up for such an important event in Trevor's life and our family.  However, my inlaws came out with abundance to show their love and support.  Wow!  And to Natalie thank you and Granny for coming to support my little Trevor baby.

So I guess it's time to forgive you, huh?

Day 3: Something You Have to Forgive Yourself For

Hahahaha!  But while we are being truthful, I have to forgive myself for not being perfect.  I know that might sound dumb to some.  If you are any kind of perfectionist as I am, it's a constant battle.  I have to catch myself, take a couple of steps back and say to myself, "it's ok, I'm not perfect".  Of course, it doesn't always work, but forgiveness in any shape or form isn't instantaneously nor overnight by any means.  I think that is why we are here... or should I say still alive,  because we aren't perfect.  We make mistakes.  Everyone does.  It's unavoidable.  If we were perfect we wouldn't be here.  Our mission on this earth would be complete.  And mine is not :)  So I forgive myself for not being perfect... even though I expect it almost every minute of every day.  I know not very rational but hey what can I say?

Day 2: Something You Love About Yourself

I forgot to post about this yesterday.  Oh geez there are so many things!  J/K!  I like my creative abilities.  I enjoy creating.  In so many different things.  Whether it be a meal, a scrapbook, a haircut, a photo, a house project... you name it and I pretty much love to make it.  AND I'm good at it too.  I guess I just excel at those things.  I always have.  You could say it's my area of expertise :)  So I can with confidence say I love my creativity.  THE END!

Day 1: Something You Hate About Yourself

Negativity.  I think it's something I combat on a daily basis.  I try, I do try to turn it around to a positive.  It's crazy the way my mind works.  Always thinking the worst of things... at least until something happy happens.  I think it was what I was surrounded by when I grew up.  Not to say it's someone else's fault or whatever.  I own this.  Trust me.  And it's hard.  But it's doable.  If that is even a word.  I tell myself I can do it.  But it will always be a constant fight of mine.  Hard for some to believe, but it's the truth.  And boy does it go from one extreme to another... like hormones or something.  Well whatever.  At least I can say I know it's a problem.  Personally I think it's how I "deal" with things.  Any"thing".  Not that I want to analyze why I'm so freakin' negative.  So there you have it.
