Pumpkin Patch 2011

We went to take pics at the Pumpkin Patch while Markus watched the LSU vs. Auburn game. His mom, sister and her husband went in place of Markus. It wasn't the same, but I was sure glad they came to support my little man and all his "1st's". It was an absolutely beautiful day. It really couldn't have been more perfect. I had so much fun taking pics of him and watching his fascination with the pumpkins. He got a handle on the smaller ones and would just toss them. It was so funny! He is all boy in that respect! All he wants to do as of late is throw/toss things. Any thing at that :). Well here's the pics. FINALLY. It's just so time consuming to do this. So I'll just post my favs :)
Trevor finds the stem!

He's fascinated... and really thinking about it :)

He was such a card!

Having a ball with his new found friends :)

Trevor & his Nanny... you see there he goes about to throw the pumpkin!

Uncle "E" (Eric), Nanny, & Trevor

Mommy & Trevor

My daydreamer... Can we say Markus?

This child was so happy to be there :)

Right before I took this shot he was trying to eat the pumpkin!

Mimi took Trevor for a hayride.  His 1st might I add :)

Playing in the trailer where all the hay was.

Uncle E, Trevor & Nanny...Seriously my baby could pass for Sarah's child... don't you think?

In this pic Trevor just kept grabbing Sarah's chin.  Hilarious!

Nanny & Trevor playing with the John Deere Tractor

He was so into the tractor and the noise it made when I tapped my ring against it.  The baby loves noises.  Of all kinds.

The best one we could get of the 2 of us by the tractor.  Loving my baby boy!

Well, there you have it.  Fall is my single most favorite season and time of year.  I would always drive by these pumpkin patches and wish I could go, but felt silly since I didn't have a little one.  Not anymore.  I think this will of course start a new tradition around this time of year.  I'm sure many more will follow this one.  I loved everything about this day and being with my baby as he is my heart.  Here's to many more visits with the pumpkins.

Did I mention it was National Blog Posting Month?  Um yeah, going to try and post something at least once a day on this blog.  Ha!  We will see how I do :).  Shouldn't be too hard since I have Trevor to talk about :)   Enjoy!

Guess what Trevor was...

For Halloween we dressed Trevor up like a TIGER! Big surprise there. Lol. We had a blast. We went trick or treating in my moms neighborhood with Stephanie and her kiddos and my MIL and SIL and BIL joined us. We dressed up Trevor's wagon too. It was the "ghost flyer". That ended up being more if a pain than I anticipated. Oh well. We had a great time and even stopped by to say hello to my granny! Great 1st Halloween for Trevor indeed. I only got one pic with my phone(the rest are waiting to be downloaded)... So here you go

Trevor meets pumpkins

Click HERE to see the pics. We went last weekend to the pumpkin patch and it was so cute! I will stop being lazy (one day) and post pics. I got some cute ones... but Jane did a great job. Thanks Jane for coming all the way out there... just for this. But it was pretty important to me :).

Trevor's 1st Tailgate

We set out early Saturday morning to get a good (free) parking spot at LSU.  I was excited because this would be Trevor's 1st venture to LSU.  We dressed him in his purple and gold and off we went.  Naturally we had more to carry than in previous years, but the stroller held just about everything we needed to bring out there.  Luckily it was a breezy day.  Thank goodness for that, he was able to stay outside for much of the day.  He got to see all of his favorite family and meet some new friends and crazy people.  Here are pics of his day.

9 Months {And the countdown to 1 begins}

I guess everyone wants to see pics since it's been a while...
Trevor got a Radio Flyer Wagon!  He loves taking rides in it.  Looking forward to Halloween evening in this thing!
You can find Trevor sucking his fingers... half the time.  I think they are continuously coated in sugar... or so you would think :)
Did I mention Trevor has 7 Teeth???  Such a big boy smile with the pearly whites :)
Now for the Stats: Weight: 17lbs 13oz Height: 27.5inches Teeth: 7 Trevor continues to sleep through the night. He has learned how to crawl for real this time. No army crawling for this little guy. He's been going strong with that for a couple of weeks now. His new trick as of late is pulling up on EVERYTHING, even if he's taller than the object the boy will still try! It's comical at times. He is getting good at balancing. He moves along the couch but not very well. I can't believe he's already into the semi-standing/walking phase now. He just barely learned how to crawl on his hands and knees. He still eats just about anything you put in his mouth. The Dr. wanted him to start on Stage 3 foods and we tried Macaroni and cheese and he hated it. So this will be interesting to feed him the chunky stuff now :) I'm sure I'm missing tons of stuff.. but in other news, Trevor will go to his first tailgate this weekend! We are excited to bring him to LSU. He's never been. LOL.
THE END!

8 months! {Already}

First of all, I cannot believe Trevor is 8 months. Wow! And has been doing so many new things over the past month. Crazy, but true! What a great excuse to have a photo shoot :)
Future Football Player?
This is one of my favs :)
Thanks Nanny & Uncle E for the cool shoes and shorts!
He is all about rocking back and forth.

He is getting so big so fast.  He finally moved his hands a little bit yesterday for a sec to take his first little crawl :).  He gets around right now on his stomach with his hands and feet doing all the work.  It's hilarious how good he is at it and how fast he gets around.  If you look at his clothes at any given moment they will probably be filthy on the tummy part.
He continues to be the happiest baby I know.  We are probably the happiest parents ever too :).  Currently he has 5 teeth.  We are waiting for the big front tooth to come in.  He has one big front tooth and the two on both sides, but one has decided to be stubborn.  It's ready to poke it's pearly white any day!  Trevor apparently doesn't grow teeth one by one.  Ha!

It's hard to tell, but he has been getting hair... little by little it's getting thicker and thicker.  The bigger question... What color will it be?  That still appears to be a mystery depending on who is looking at it at any given moment.
